Bringing people to Christ by Caring and Serving

Small Group Studies

Here at St. Paul’s, we are involved in many small group gatherings. Besides our Sunday morning Tradition Worship at 10:00am, (with a Contemporary Music component in the beginning of the service), there is our children and adult Sunday School classes Sunday mornings at 9am, we get together at other times as well.

We are now in the Season of Lent, and are meeting Wednesday evenings for our Lenten Study Group, beginning with a meal at 6:30p and our study begins at 7:15p.  We meet together with St. John’s Lutheran Church and St. John’s United Church of Christ. This year we are studying Adam Hamilton’s, THE WAY: WALKING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS.  “Hamilton retraces the footsteps of Jesus from his baptism to the temptations to the heart of his ministry, including the people he loved, the enemies he made, the parables he taught, and the roads that he traveled.” This experience is enhanced with short video clips of the Holy Land where Hamilton describes each of the places where Jesus walked.

Other groups include:

*Summer Bible/book Studies

*Christmas and Easter Choirs

*Bell Choir

*Prayer Group (meets weekly)

*Prayer Chain ministry (Callers who pass on critical prayer concerns)

*Care Ministry that seeks to provide support for our congregation and surrounding

community through visitation, communion visits, transportation to Doctor’s

appointments, and providing meals for those who are recovering from surgery.

*Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 years to 11 years old. Youth age provide

assistance for the group. Held for 1 week in the evening during the summer months.
